There are many ways for a customer or a business to do business and many places they could check out. Business to business or B2B refers to when a business sells goods and services, and another business buys it. For example, car dealerships do not make wheels, they buy wheels from other businesses that sell them. business to consumer is when a business sells goods to a consumer. Consumer to consumer is when a normal person sells goods to another normal person. For example, a yard sale. Ecommerce was not always around but another form of ecommerce was getting mail in mailbox even back in the 1800s. Ecommerce takes place online and a popular form is a company setting up a website for consumers to browse a catalog and buy what they want. For example on amazon.com a consumer can buy pretty much anything but only in online form, which sometimes is called dot com companies. There's also subscriptions such as Netflix to watch a movie,  or a workout program that allows you to track calories and give advice. Also can buy services online too. Try and stay away from sites that look suspect, there are many online scammers who will try and take your money.
